Merdule (woman)

“The Cowherd” is a sardinian mythological figure who symbolizes mankind’s will to dominate the wild forces of nature. He wears a terrifying black mask and uses a stick and a leash to control the beast, trying to subdue it while struggling not to become the monster himself.

Il “padrone dei buoi” è una figura mitologica sarda che simboleggia la volontà del genere umano di dominare le selvagge forze della natura. Indossa una terrificante maschera nera e con cappio e bastone cerca di soggiogare la bestia, mentre lotta per non trasformarsi egli stesso nel mostro.
